Download Products

The download archive, Bootmaster.ZIP, contains the following files:

BM.EXE - Self-extracting floppy disk image for creating a BootMster bootable diskette.

BM.ISO - An ISO image for creating a BootMaster bootable CDROM.

BM_GUIDE.PDF - The BootMaster Users' Guide in PDF format. (Note that text versions of the manual are included on both the diskette and CDROM versions of BootMaster and can be accessed from within BootMaster.)

Installation

For BootMaster on CDROM - Extract the file BM.ISO from the BM.ZIP archive. Use you CD software to burn the ISO image to CD. Note: Do NOT just copy BM.ISO to the CD. That will not work. If the CD shows in Windows Explorer with the label "BootMaster" and appears to contain only one file - Readme.txt (the BootMaster files are "hidden" and will not be visible in Explorer) - then it has been burned correctly, is bootable and ready to use.

For BootMaster on Floppy Diskette - Insert a 1.44MB floppy disk into drive A:. Extract the file BM.EXE from the BM.ZIP archive and execute it. The BootMaster bootable disk image will copied to the disk in drive A:.

Once the disk has been created you are ready to boot the computer that needs repairing and begin your evaluation of BootMaster. It will be helpful to refer to our quick start guides to the most common repairs:
